Bright, Light Filled 1-Bedroom Apartment

Sadly a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay Positive: Good location, nice view, and the apartment was clean on arrival. Negative: We discovered there is no air conditioning, which is advertised in the listing. There is one small fan in the bedroom which was completely inadequate to cool anything. I strongly recommend not staying here during summer. Turning on the stove in the apartment immediately tripped the electricity off, except lights, which left the apartment without power, wifi or tv. Consequently we couldn't cook and had to go out or buy take-away food for meals every day, which ended up costing us much more than we planned for this 6 day stay. The use of the kitchen appliances to cook for ourselves is a key reason to book apartments, but that was impossible here. Other issues we experienced included the one oven baking dish was broken and unusable, the clothes drying rack was broken, and a key light switch in the bathroom was broken. We alerted the managing agents for the apartment but, apart from supplying a new baking dish late in our stay, they couldn't rectify the issues during our stay which meant that we were left unable to cook or to cool the apartment as needed. The advertised information about the apartment is incorrect and misleading.

I travel quite a bit for work and this place has everything I look for. Great location, right near the beach and plenty of places to eat nearby. The building is lovely and welcoming. The apartment itself is clean and spacious, a joy to come back to after a long day. I will definitely stay again.
